Exactly.

There is a push on here in the Bluegrass to remove the statues of Thomas Hunt Morgan, John C Breckenridge. There is an issue that the leftist liberal dip shits don’t realize. There happens to be this building here called the Morgan House. The very same house which is on the National Historic Register. Then you drive about 70 miles due west, you come to a very long road called Breckenridge Lane. So when all the revisionist wish to remove, hide, destroy and remove those who fought for the confederacy, what will they do about such matters?

Trump was right. Where and when will it stop? Those who wish to deny or remove the past are sure as hell doomed to repeat. If you remove the past and those who were part of it. Then the communist and leftist can tell those who are young and dumb anything they wish and they will believe. Just watch the video from NC.

It is good thing to see people standing up to protect the past. If we do not understand and protect the past, there is no anchor point for the future.

“leftist liberal dip shits” Isn’t that a bit redundant? When you say leftist I believe that also assumes the liberal dip shit part. 🙂

Maybe I just don’t know that much about MLK Jr, but I don’t recall him asking for statues to be removed. This thing about statues is a red herring, IMO. A thing to use to stir sh*t up.

Black Dallas citizens protecting a statue that honors rebel racist slavers. The Democrats really won this one. I say crush all the rebel statues. Why honor rebels who lost?

OK. I understand the whole keep history thing but the confederate images ought rather reflect the ignominy rather than any type of ” southern nobility.”

What about the images of Robert C. Byrd? What about the images of Margret Sanger? What about the NYC and or New York State? The Civil War was a dark part of this nations history. Removing it is rewriting history. Read what Lee wrote once the war was over. Read what he stated when he took over what is now Washington and Lee. Read what he placed in his will.

Being Southern, I am proud of my heritage. Being Irish I am proud of my heritage, Being Cherokee I am proud of my heritage. I AM DAMN PROUD of being an American

Frankly I’m opposed to any statue of humans, realistic and/or stylized in The U.S.A.
Removing statues doesn’t rewrite history, after all the Spirit of Saint Louis is in a museum but that doesn’t change the fact of lindbergh’s transatlantic flight
Reportedly Lee himself was opposed to monuments to the rebels as it kept the wounds of war open.
I’m a proud Texan who in my youth romanticized the rebels, but age has brought wisdom and an earnest disgust for the rebels.
I do appreciate Lee campaigned against the murdering comanche and mexican bandits, but his taking arms against the Union overshadows his earlier honor.

I’m with you there. I’m constantly getting into Internet debates about these crumbums who led the Confederacy. They were scum, and that includes the beloved Robert E. Lee who southern apologists are constantly trying to paint as some sort of enlightened noble being. Bullshit. He resigned from the U.S. military to which he had sworn allegiance to fight for slavery. As a slave owner himself he had a reputation as the meanest man the slaves had ever seen. When his wife inherited her father’s slaves they were supposed to be freed but Lee kept them the maximum five years after the estate settled before freeing them. That’s despicable all by itself. And as a “genius” general? Play a Civil War game sometime, board game or computer game, and try to make the South lose at Gettysburg–it’s almost impossible.

Why are they not protesting last years events? Come on you racist bastards. A member of your organization was responsible for the death of 5 of my brothers. Yet all you ass hats can do is attempt to sanitize history. Just like Mao, Stalin and Hitler. You damn right I aligned them with the three evil bastards of the 20th century.

They might have but you wouldn’t hear about it because it doesn’t fit the MSM’s narrative.

My best friend in the 70’s/80’s was a black guy who used to laugh at the idea of reparations and all that crap.
