President Obama likes to roll up his sleeves

by editor on July 12, 2011

President Obama gave a speech Friday about the debt ceiling debate and said he was ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work with Congress.

That sounded vaguely familiar so we did a little Googling. Turns out the President loves to roll up his sleeves. So does the First Lady. In fact, we suspect that it’s a genetic thing that has probably been passed down to Malia and Sasha.

Seems to us that the President could save a lot of time if he started wearing short sleeve shirts. Just imagine how much more productive he could be if he didn’t have to spend so time rolling up the sleeves on those neatly-starched long-sleeve dress shirts he usually wears.

“The American people sent us here to do the right thing, not for party but for country. So, we’re going to work together to get things done on their behalf. That’s the least that they should expect of us. Not the most that they should expect of us. I am ready to roll up my sleeves over the next several weeks and next several months. I know that people in both parties are ready to do that as well, and we will keep you updated on the progress that we’re making on these debt limit talks over the next several days. Thank you,” President Obama said today about the debt talks.

Today, for the official kick off of United We Serve, members of my administration have fanned out across America to participate in service events and encourage all Americans to join them. The First Lady is rolling up her sleeves and getting to work too. But before she headed out today, she asked me to share this message with you.

All of that “rolling up their sleeves” doesn’t keep them from destroying the country. They need a room at Gitmo.

He loves to roll up his sleeves because when he was majoring in “genius” at Havaad, the test answers were written on his arms:
2 + 2 = 22
Leader of America during Revolution: Karl Marx
What comes after a trillion: QE2

He continues to roll up his sleeves because he thinks the answers are still written there. But they ain’t. Toto, we ain’t in Havaad anymore.

Well, the Jerk-off-in-Chief got elected. I am really hoping that the Repubs in the house and senate remain strong on not allowing Mr. Shirtsleeve Roller to increase the debt. This way he has use an executive order, and get himself impeached. Did-U see today’s Drudge headline, he’s threatening to withhold Social Security checks? Talk about abusing the defenseless. I certainly hope they see what they put in office. And pay more attention next election. And please do NOT trust the media. They no longer look out for us.

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be “gambling”, “risk-taking”, and “usury” and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

Well, I just wonder if he rolls up his sleeves when he’s thinking about the first thing on waking up and the last thing he thinks of before going to sleep at night.

Whatever that might be. It changes from day to day.

It always drove me nuts whenever I heard Obama use this phrase, so I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Then there are all the asinine metaphors. The Slurpees, the drivers insurance, the corporate jet owners, the foot lopping and tonsil stealing doctors,…

Get the man off TOTUS and he shows himself to be a moron. Every. Single. Time.

You guys are way to slow to catch his REAL meaning.

What he is really saying is ” roll me a joint” or ” keep tapping that vain in your forearm” or “get that speedball ready” or “get that glass pipe ready” or “gimmie a rag for some huffing”

they are all his HAVARD way of asking for more drugs, kenyan style.

1981 saw a movie with Faye Dunaway in the title role of “Evita Peron”. At one of the first big rallies where Juan is to speak to the peasants, she tells him to roll up his sleeves to which he practically balks until he sees what she saw, that all the working and non working people in the street waiting for him, all had their sleeves rolled up. Yep. Made a big impression on the future fascists watching it. He took off his fine looking jacket and was rolling the shirt up as he started talking. What a message!

The Obamas remind me of the Perons in more than one way.

No kidding! Except Evita was significantly more dangerous due to her cunning and intelligence than the occupant wife.

If he doesn’t roll up his sleeves then he’ll get our blood on them and that just would not do. Those shirts are expensive and there is only so much of our blood that can be spent on his wardrobe.

He’s been way to repetitive with this and it belies his real nature, which is to run from real work and point the finger when things don’t go his way. BHO is not a man. He’s a sophomore in High School, trying to act like a senior.

Interesting he uses the metaphor so often considering it referrers to old times on the farm when there was too much work to do so the woman of the house would put on a man’s shirt and “roll up the sleeves” so it would fit her.

He’s always in teleprompter sound bite mode. — ” Top priority (everything ?) , ” let me make myself perfectly clear “, ” there are those who say “, ” back from the brink “, ” saved or created “, unprecendented , and some of my favorites , ” game changer ” , ” the system is broken , TRANSPARENT ( lol – soda through the nose ) and his personal favorites , ” inherited ” and “previous administration “.

The above list is from the lightning quick game called ” Obana Bingo Bullshit” , that someone emailed me awhile back. its a really fast game . I’m sure its easy to find on the “net”.

His only hope for a good legacy is revisionist history. I’m surprized its not common knowledge that he crossed the Deleware , chopped down the cherry tree , and led the forces against the Brits. I’m not sure if Big Al knows this but Barack “did” invent the internet . Crazy or evil people attract one another ( Oblivious ? ).

His legacy could easily be shown by his own words ” This is the greatest nation in the world and I’m going to change it “.

I don’t know if there are any other “South Park” fans here, but it reminds me of the song from the SP movie: “What Would Brian Boitano Do?”

What Would Barack Obama Do?

For someone who “rolls up their sleeves” as much as this clown, he sure dosen’t get much work done. We should roll him up in that disgusting carpet he put in the Oval Office, and throw him in the dumpster.

That’s because “rolling up his sleeves” makes him winded and then he needs to rest.
