Sheriff’s radio ad says 911 not best option, urges residents to take firearms classes. At least there are a few realist in the government, but damn few. Most seem to believe it’s best to let the police scrape up your brains after they show up 10 minutes later.

I’ve ALWAYS considered self defense as the most reasonable option. It just gets more and more visible as government cuts budgets in the wrong place. Welfare to illegal aliens? No, can’t cut that.

At least there are a few realist in the government, but damn few.

But at least they all seem to be in Law Enforcement.

“Apparently, Sheriff David Clarke is auditioning for the next Dirty Harry movie.”

This was said by a liberal moron who neither understands law enforcement or what can happen BEFORE the police get there. Clarke is speaking the truth, something liberals don’t ever want to hear. They think (homeland security) that you should run and hide, wet yourself and let the criminal get away with whatever he wants.

In all honesty I would love Dirty Harry as my partner, or the cop who shows up to end the problem I am having with a criminal.

I know that most liberals believe a group hug or a unicorn picture or fairy dust will solve the problem. I have said this before, more people need to be armed, states need to enact stand your ground, a few hundred pieces of shit get taken out in the process the crime rate WILL decrease.

As a cop I can tell you the cops are always at the wrong end of town when the poo hits the fan, I wish I could be in the right place at the right time every time, but that seldom works out. Even at High Speed, with no traffic and lights and siren it takes precious minutes to get to a call. That’s when YOU have to protect yourself and your family. If you can be secure in a safe place, do so, but do so with a weapon you know how to use.

I have been to many calls where armed citizens got the drop on the criminal shit head and held the criminal for us. I love that. And I have even written people up for citizen awards for things like this.

Get a gun, LEARN how to use it properly, store it safely, and use it if you have to. Remember that criminals are cowards, they like to bluff and bullshit you to intimidate you, but it’s really hard to intimidate someone who is pointing a 45 at your head.

Not so silent I prefer that my son use my Mossberg or Burnelli shot guns. He doesnt have to be spot on while aiming to put a criminal down.

The ratchet sound is a universal sound that is understood in almost every language. Which is followed by bang, bang, bang.

At close range I like shotguns…that bang followed by the criminal flying backwards is somewhat rewarding….

Another member of the blue line telling the truth about what to do. Evil is everywhere and people need to realize that unless we actually just happen to be right there when it strikes, we are coming to piece together what went on and put together a case once the person is captured. It is so rare that we are able to intervene in the commission of a crime you would be better off playing the lottery with the last few dollars you have than believing that the police are going to get there in time to save you. It is time to teach your children, your spouses, your sisters and anyone else you care about how to protect themselves at all times. One of the first thing I tell people, you always have a weapon of some sort with you. Keys, purse, shoes, a belt buckle just about any thing to inflict an injury. You just have to be willing to use them.

Take a good look at this and decide whether you want an extra leg of lamb or an extra box of ammo next time you go to the store: http://youtu.be/kzT6X3_Bg9o

Personally, I know which one I want, but I know what I need more!

Holy sh’ite. That is ffng chilling. You don’t need special orders to put down an actual rebellion. This is about a wholesale takeover.

I just ran across this too, is this for real or bs? If it’s true how in the world did I miss it?

“FBI Director Robert Mueller on Wednesday said he would have to go back and check with the Department of Justice whether Attorney General Eric Holder’s “[criteria] for the targeted killing of Americans also applied to Americans inside the U.S”

The NDAA that Obama signed does NOT have any specific language in it to protect American citizens…

http://www.counterpunch.org/2012/01/18/why-the-ndaa-is-unconstitutional/

FTA: Section 1022 of the law covers U.S. persons. The section allows for open-ended executive judgment with regard to the handling of U.S. persons. In other words, the detention of U.S persons is optional, rather than a requirement as it is for non-U.S. persons.

Obama signed it only after it passed the GOP led House. That bothers me as much as anything else.

no doubt…it a scary concept…all congress has to do is declare you a “suspected terrorist” and due process can be suspended…so the first ammendment can become deadly if you exercise it and say the wrong thing…just like in say China

You put all of the pieces together…gun control, police-state administrative powers, ruined economy, high taxes, Muslim subjugation, crushing regulation, ultra-loose monetary policy, generals willing to shoot civilians, billions of hollow point bullets, M-4s in the hands of civilian government agencies, and a disregard for the rule of law and one might think that something untoward is afoot.

I would not be surprised to learn that the production of boxcars and barbed wire are at all-time highs.

Sheriff Clarke is the chief of the Milwaukee County police and a strong conservative. Milwaukee County includes the city of Milwaukee which is controlled by liberal Democrats who hate sheriff Clarke, the First and Second Amendments, and Republicans (probably in that order). It’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out, right now the liberals are going bonkers over his radio ad, but it makes sense to me. If the police can’t (or won’t) protect you, you have to take steps to protect yourself. Note that the sheriff is not calling for vigilante action or random gunfire, but rather responisble gun ownership and training. Talk like this just enrages liberals, imagine talking steps to protect your family and your property, why it’s un-American!

Personally, I live in Waukesha County (right next to Milwaukee County) and have long since taken the sheriff’s advice.

I am paraphrasing the quote I posted above, but I think it is worth repeating wherever and whenever possible:

“Arming oneself is a protection against evil; cowardice is passing that karma on to a cop and asking him or her to put their life on the line because you choose not to. Compassion dictates that YOU shoulder the responsibility personally.”

THAT might actually get some of the sheeple to THINK, rather than just go with the herd.

It is a brilliant piece of reasoning. Have you read his book, “The Secret Knowledge”? If not, I recommend it. His suggested reading list at the end of it should be required reading for any conservative/classical liberal.

Thanks Kick, just got back from the library, where they happened to have 1 available Ebook copy of “The Secret Knowledge: On the Dismantling of American Culture “.

Which is now safely inside the free Kindle app on the laptop for the next 14 days. So I guess until then my library has no available copies. All without leaving my chair, imagine that.

Awesome! The book is a fantastic conservative primer. Be warned, you’ll need a dictionary. Mamet has an amazingly robust vocabulary.

The Progressive Liberal mantra is “Vote for us, we will take care of you”, when reality is “We will take care of you, when we get around to it”
I for one, am not waiting for some sphincter lapping bureaucrat to do anything.

I was listening to my local radio this afternoon, and I heard something that I cannot attribute but it was amazing! I believe it was a response to a question about how someone could be “spiritual” and support gun rights at the same time. The writer did a great job of linking it all together, but one thing he said that really hit home was to the effect of:

An honorable , spiritual person will take responsibility for protecting himself from the evil that lurks in the world. A COWARD will abdicate that responsibility to someone else, such as the police.

I really wish I knew who had written it, or that I could find it to share in it’s entirety.

OK – I actually found it. It is from someone named Brian Brawdy, who has a facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Brian-Brawdy/341068225856

BEST interview question this year: Just asked, “How do you personally reconcile your belief in human potential and spirituality with your obvious Second Amendment beliefs?” I replied, “Spirituality is about thriving and helping those around you to do the same. That evil exists in this world means that a truly “spiritual person” stands for the protection and nurturing of the individual in a society by all means necessary. Arming oneself is a protection against that evil; cowardice is passing that karma on to a cop and asking him or her to put their life on the line because you choose not to. Compassion dictates that YOU shoulder the responsibility personally. If you believe in the person, you must believe in the protection of that person.”
