“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Joseph Goebbels

One thing in the loonies defense, the Daily Currant is way more honest than most “news”papers these days. But it shows how gullible these fools are…the regime knows it.

These people – cowards – hide behind THEIR first amendment rights to lie and manipulate the public, and then have the nerve to even QUESTION our 2nd amendment rights? What a bunch of weaselly, slimy scumballs. Somehow these people need to be held accountable for their lies.

I feel for this dad. How horrible to lose a child, whether they be murdered, or victim of a car crash, drowned in a swimming accident or falling to leukemia or another illness. That is NOT the way it’s supposed to be. Parents are supposed to die before their children.

But I would have to say to him: man, remember – the guns you are talking about? THEY were not involved in your child’s death. The shooter had a semi in the car. It was never used. So, a little shame on you for using your child’s death to try and promote your agenda. Would you be trying to ban cars? Swimming pools? Or chemo drugs? if something else had caused your child’s death? No? I didn’t think so.

But it WOULD be nice if he (and the other parents of shooting victims) would start DEMANDING appropriate health care for the mentally ill, including long term hospitalization where necessary to ensure compliance with treatment and meds.

She’s got a temporary protection order (now), signed by a judge! Problem solved. {and the prick shoved his own gramma into a wall to get at her}

I can’t tell you the number of violations of a restraining order/domestic violence order we get daily…That piece of paper means nothing to shitheads…Several have killed their significant other after getting served with that order…it does nothing, Judges here in Kalifornia slap the violators on the wrist if THEY do show up in court and they are free to go after the other person again and again…Nothing beats a handgun when your ex comes to the door with an AX and wants to kill you….

Outside of MSNBCs editing, I feel for the guy. He is dealing with the death of his son and I bet he would want to outlaw anything related to that tragedy , but we don’t let the victims families write legislation that infringes other people’s rights.

A distant relative of my wife’s was murdered. Her killer was never found, and the boys she was last seen alive with said that they didn’t know anthything about anything. I’m sure 60 seconds with a a 1200 count cotton sheet and a bucket of water would have cleared their memories very quickly- but I don’t get to violate their rights just because I want justice.

Can we please get some genocide survivors to testify at these hearings about the 100,000,000s (hundreds of millions) that have been slaughtered by their own govt because they couldn’t fight back!!! For every person killed in a mass shooting there are literally a million people killed by their own govt in the 20th century. ‘Mass shooting’ is even a misnomer when you consider the killing fields of Southeast Asia, the genocide of the Balkans and the blood letting of sub-saharan Africa.

How are we different to the people that inflicted and sustained these atrocities? Are we morally superior? Are you saying we are somehow incapapble of such acts? This is the only American exceptionalism that progressives will allow us to have.

Yes, we ARE morally superior. By the fact that we will not give up our weapons. Our government is NOT morally superior to theirs.

Yeah, more regime propaganda from NBClease. But who’s gonna call them on it so the gullible dolts can find out? And Mr. Obnoxious Asshole, Bob “Cheesy Dye Job” Costas, mewled that NBC was not carrying Obama’s water. Maybe not, but they sure are giving him the old Monica.

MSNBC is to journalism as Obama is to honesty. There is SUPPOSED to be a correlation. But there ain’t one.

Just sayin’.

MSNBC is to journalism what professional wrestling is to Shakespearean acting.

I can just see the argument in the CNN staff room: “Damn it! How did MSNBC scoop us on this? We should have edited that video first!”

I’d rather watch the wrestlers doing Shakespeare.
