Sports Illustrated gives 2017 Muhammad Ali Legacy Award to Colin Kaepernick.

GQ gives Citizen of the Year Award to Colin Kaepernick.

These media people keep spitting in America’s eye and then wondering why nobody buys their product anymore. It’s like watching slow-motion suicide. “Hey, I got an idea! Let’s give Colin Kaepernick an award and see how many more readers we lose!”

I gave up on the NFL, don’t even watch the games anymore. Unless I am visiting my neighbor, who is a sports nut, on Sunday doing a little beer drinking. I am not going to watch some millionaire crybaby piss on the graves of all the brave men and women who died protecting their right to get rich playing a game. Those disrespectful aholes sitting or taking a knee during our national anthem can kiss my wrinkled old veterans ass.

For kneeling for the national anthem? Seriously? Fuck these liberal wastes of paper. I wouldn’t even wipe my butt with them if I was out of toilet paper.

He’d fit right in with the Muhammad Ali Legacy of draft dodging.

You were probably making a joke but, believe it or not, she won Woman of the Year about a month ago:

JJ Watt raises over $37million for hurricane victims & these 2 rags give their awards to a stupid idiot who has never voted & terminated his own multi million dollar contract who started a political firestorm that is now destroying the league that made him wealthy.

Effing amazing.

And Watt is actually a sports figure, one of the best in his sport. Kaepernick is an EX-sports figure. Sports Illustrated is doing this simply to make a leftwing insult of America, plain and simple.

And they’ll CONTINUE doing it until this country stops being obsessed with watching full grown men play with their balls, and allows this whole thing to collapse.

I will say this, it is easy for me to walk at this point, for a few reasons…

1.The NFL is reading this issue completely wrong. Giving money to race groups to bribe their silence is a bad idea, & they will be back for more later. You feed the dog from the table, they always come back looking for more.

2.Personally, right now, my team, the Bears, suck. I don’t have too much interest beyond a weekly picks pool I’m involved with, mainly to keep in touch with friends I don’t get to see very much.

3.I love the Canadian Football League, I have been to 4 games so far, I enjoy it, & the guys up there don’t have any reason to do dumb things like the take a knee protests. The Americans who play in the CFL have to mind their manners because they really don’t want to get into trouble in a foreign country. It’s not worth it.
