Sting operations reveal Mafia involvement in renewable energy. “‘Uncle Vincenzo,’ implored the businessman, Angelo Salvatore, using a term of affection for the alleged head of Sicily’s Gimbellina crime family, 79-year-old Vincenzo Funari. According to a transcript of their wiretapped conversation, Salvatore continued, ‘for the love of our sons, renewable energy is important… it’s a business we can live on.'” It’s like 3 Card Monte but for rich, leftist unicorn ranchers.

I bet you he’s involved in some way. It seems wherever there is corrupt gov’t contracts, you’ll find corrupt people on both sides. Crooked gov’t type being bought off for access for contracts for services & projects are a part of life. Too many people just accept it, when they really should fight it.

Does this surprise anybody? And let’s face it, Obama came out of Chicago which is one of the three biggest Mafia cities in the U.S., so we can be assured the Mafia is involved with our renewable energy programs, too.

Not surprised in the least. That could partially explain all the bankruptcies in the field.
