The bitter wastes of politicized America.“The rest of us should consider the contemptible behavior of people like Hoyer as we watch the expansion of politics into every area of our lives. The government grows; the private sector diminishes; everything becomes a political act. Soon you will see the phrase ‘none of your business’ become an antique aphorism, as quaint as telling someone to ‘dial’ a telephone number. Everything is everyone’s business now. That’s what Big Government means.” Not Big Brother but Big Nanny. Utopia!

No, the problem is apolitism, when a large proportion of the population doesn´t give a **** as to how the country is run, didn´t bother to have any critical thinking and allowed the rot to spread like wildfire, for decades.

To all the “politics dunt matter”, I “say” ENJOY the results, you built that!

Zero liability voters as Andrew Wilkow calls them. They don’t pay into the functioning of government so why should they care what happens?

“It’s somewhat like taking your child hostage and saying to somebody else, ‘I’m going to shoot my child if you don’t do what I want done.’ You don’t want to shoot your child. There’s no Republican leader that wants to default on our debt, that I’ve talked to,” Hoyer said at a Capitol Hill press conference.
UH OH! Hoyer is next in line for a blood clot!

That line, when I first heard it, seemed to be pure projection. Obama’s insistence on raising taxes with no spending cuts is just like holding his child hostage. The Dems, like Hoyer, are co-conspirators.
