WaPo: The EPA is earning a reputation for abuse. Winner of the “Gee, Ya Think?” award for today. The abuse has gotten so bad even the MSM has noticed.

The Obama EPA denied, and then reversed course on an oil project involving shell oil company, because the Company told this administration that “All current operations WILL continue, but NO new developments in the search for oil in Alaska PERIOD, or any where else in the Continental United States”.

It is diplomatic speak; Shell oil was telling this administration too “Go to hell”.

The libtard comments at the Wash Post web site are equally laughable. How do libtards get so damn stupid? It’s gotta be Potomac River water.

“The lesson for Ms. Jackson and her boss, President Obama, from these two episodes is clear: The agency’s officers must have a clear sense when to deploy its mighty power and when to exercise discretion. That’s true for the sake of the economy and to ensure that the EPA will be able to continue its necessary work for years to come.”

This is a huge over-bloated and overpopulated bureaucracy, filled with brain-dead liberals and glassy-eyed coxswains who’ll gladly do the bidding of Dear Leader and his many, many minions in high office. These are the most committed to the destruction of this nation and this people and therefore, the most likely to speak their minds, thinking themselves far more important and better protected from the very stench of the total rot that issues forth from their maws than they are…but even the MSM has to do its job sometimes.

I was gonna write a folk song about this, bit Customs impounded my Gibson guitar, and still no word on when they can make me a replacement.

Reading between the lines, I get the impression WaPo is urging El Presidente to order the EPA to be more…’flexible’…until after the election, when, if he wins, they can start erecting crosses again.

I agree. It’s only being reported because it is unflattering to O’s administration during election time.

Bingo. Here’s the kicker:

Yet the agency ought to have asked itself years ago whether it really needed to hassle a couple seeking to build a home in an existing subdivision, helping to justify every negative caricature of the EPA that Republican presidential hopefuls peddled during the primary race. **Perhaps the agency would have been able to keep more of its regulatory power if it had been more judicious.**

You’re exactly right they should have done this. But these people are not at all introspective. To them, thinking of something is the same as it being a scientific fact. They are the definition of arrogance or power.

If fascism were to come to America, it would come wearing a friendly smile as a protector of the people and the planet.
