If I wrote my life story, and a publisher paid me $3.50, (TreeFiddy), for it, the IRS would intercept the check and I'd get nothing.

The article does mention that even with this shady payoff, the Rev still owes the IRS $750,000; maybe he can sell his cat's life story to his charity and satisfy that debt.
