Now we can add San Jose rail yard killer Samuel Cassidy to that list of infamous names.

I agents are hard working, dedicated individuals. I start shouting at the radio every time. "YOU have NO DAMN IDEA how WRONG you are" From the roots of the tree to the tip of its leaves, it is nothing but a damn shell.
One thing the FBI has always been good at, long before other institutions ever thought of it, is public relations. Hoover was passionate about public relations. They have a whole department dedicated to making sure the image of the FBI is sterling on TV shows and in movies. You will never see anything from Hollywood about all the fake science the FBI forensics lab has been caught inventing, or all the politically inconvenient evidence that has gone missing, or all the crooked FBI agents who have been disgraced, or all the times the FBI has been caught using information to blackmail politicians. They make sure that shit never appears in a TV show or movie.
