Attorney General Jeff Sessions defends himself – again – in face of attacks from President Trump:

“While I am attorney general, the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations,” Sessions said. “I demand the highest standards, and where they are not met, I take action. However, no nation has a more talented, more dedicated group of law enforcement investigators and prosecutors than the United States.” Sessions said.

While Jeff Sessions has been the attorney general his Justice Department has been working overtime to overturn the election. Either the man is a moron or he is a fraud.

  • The swamp is getting to be too much for Trump. If the voters don't get behind him again, for midterms, I'm afraid he will go under. I'm very disappointed with Sessions. I thought he was a patriot. Turns out he's just another swamp critter.

  • I've been saying Trump should have fired Sessions since last spring. He claimed he started an investigation into Shilleries shenanigans and what have we heard since? Nothing. What have we heard about investigations getting started against other Obama crooks like Comey, Lang, Ohr, Lerner, Adebin and hubby Weiner? Not one damn word. Sessions has not done one thing since he got the job but play politics, time to get a real AG named. An AG who will not play politics and get something done.

    • There is one that comes to mind, Christie. Trump was being loyal to someone who supported him from the very early part of his campaign, to only be let down by Sessions.

  • Sessions needs to grow a pair and a spine. That is what Trump is seeking from him. He needs to understand that he has become a JOKE and has not cleaned out those left from when quagmire was in the WH. Either get on with doing the job the right way, or resign. It is apparent that Sessions is not truly running the DoJ.

  • Tump is right. Sessions isn't a Democrat AG like Holder with the same ball kicking abilities. He's an establishment Republican who sat back and let the phoney "Muh Russians" dirty politics go forward with extremely damaging results. If the Republicans don't win the House and Senate, Trump's effective term of office is over. More importantly there's a good chance that will be the last chance of keeping the American we love from becoming the America the far left thinks it should become, which will be the end. So yeah, Session should have his ass kicked.
