California proposes new lethal force law that allows cops to open fire ‘only when necessary’ rather than ‘when reasonable’ after the police killing of unarmed Stephon Clark. Here we go with more crazy crap spewing out of Sacramento. This time it’s directed at the cops. We have a feeling the cops are not going to put up with this. Wait and see. We can foresee California going ‘full Baltimore’ where the cops won’t respond to calls in problem areas.

There is just no explaining the dip shit politicians. You let one of these ass clowns have a damn hang nail they’ll be all up in arms clamoring why “weren’t you here when this happened”. We all know when we put our uniforms on before our shifts start we will be under a bright light. It goes with the job. I posted this article about 3:30 this morning hoping Not so Silent would let us know if it was true. He is our California cop, I wanted to know from the man on the scene. Looks like it is, California has really lost its mind.
That's why I quit. I am done with law enforcement in this state. Last Friday was my last day. As soon as I can I am outta here.

Amen. I served for 5 years, saw some bad shit, then worked in heavy construction for 35 years and I doubt I have seen any of the crap a cop has to put up with. NOS is tougher than most of us are, we appreciate his service even though we don't live in California.
Sell out, move to Fort Sumner. Land and housing is cheap compared to California and we could use some good, experienced people on our sheriffs department if you want to put another badge on! If not, screw it we will go fishing instead. lol
Two possible solutions: 1) Disarm the police(bonus - the money governments will save on police salaries and benefits after the cops all quit) 2)Stop policing in high crime neighborhoods(penalty - billions of dollars in legal fees defending the discrimination litigation).

He was breaking and entering, he was caught red-handed, he ran and was pursued by multiple officers and a f**king HELICOPTER, and then, when cornered, he didn't comply with officers' commands... how does this idiot deserve martyrdom? I gave up on the NFL 2 years ago. Watched a few games last year at my neighbors when he had a game on while we were doing some drinking or grilling, or both, and that is it. But baseball is on now! I bought the MLB package from my satellite provider and have seen some great games already!
