Coldest April since 1895, farmers delay planting. But you just wait: when the month is over the NOAA will announce that after adjusting the data it was one of the warmest Aprils in history.

LOL. They just said it may snow in LA up on the mountains. This is May.
Any more of this globull warming, and I'll never get the damn bike out.
I have been riding my bike all winter. It has been very dry in eastern New Mexico. My bike is a 2003 anniversary Harley wide glide so if you are talking about one of those pedal power things no thanks. (snicker)
Ehhh, this won’t faze the hysterics, they’ll just scream “CLIMATE CHAOS!!!” like they always do then their prophecies fail.
They are now calling it "Climate Cancer" to make it sound like a disease.
Weeell, it was pretty warm in March and April has been pretty warm in New Mexico. Our problem is the lack of moisture. A 38% of normal snow pack in the mountains. No rain in the low lands. We farmers and ranchers are going to be hurting if we don't get some rain soon. I'm already trying to make a deal with someone to buy 200 head of my breeding cows, with no grass in the pastures it will be to expensive to feed them.
They're already saying March was the 5th warmest on record. Yeah, according to their corrupt records.
The crap data that gets fed to you from NOAA through the media is seasonally adjusted. They use an algorithm to adjust actual measurements from non-seasonally adjusted(Actual) data based on the previous thirty years of data for a particular season.
They do the same thing with employment data, damn near any information you can think of.
Those dirty, Climate-Denying Farmers! Just another reason why the Department of Agriculture should assume control of all farmland in the USA.
DA, Komrad! Let Glorious People's Department of Agriculture begin immediate collectivization of all farmland and produce bountiful harvests following newly issued guidelines for democratic people's farming in brave new world of
global warmingclimatechangeadjustmentchaos!Fine example of liberal logic.
Ridiculously cold here in south Texas. Down in the 50s again last night. It was in the 40s last week. But yes, they'll find a glacier with .0000000000001 warmer temps somewhere and 'average' things out to show an overall rise world wide.
I say ridiculously cold, because normally it would be highs well into the nineties and lows around 78 where I live.
Lol...The last year I was in the service I was transferred from Coos Bay to Corpus Christi. It was February and colder than hell in Oregon but in Texas it was t-shirt weather! I couldn't understand why people were wearing coats!
My first week of golf league was cancelled because the ground was covered with snow. That never happened before. My Dad's birthday was filled with snow and the ground was covered. That never happened before and this was his 99th birthday. I just hope the cold April is balanced out with an extra hot summer because I like heat.
Blue balls JP, get out there and play anyway. Man up.
What!? Ohh no, no, excuse me. I meant Dayglo orange or blue GOLF balls. Sheesh.
I've fallen in love with Calloway soccer-style golf balls:
https://www.scheels.com/p/callaway-chrome-soft-truvis-2016-golf-balls/642331-64212531220.html
I wait 'til partway through the round and then I announce: "Okay, it's time to get serious. I'm bringing out the soccer ball!" The goal is to psyche the other team out. So far the results are mixed.
The trick to psyching people in golf is the ability to psyche yourself up. No good getting in someone else's head if you continue to three putt and drive into the rough.
I don't know who you're talking to: I shot a 40 tonight. Should've been a 39 but I three-putted the second to last hole. Dammit.
Not bad for an old duffer. hahaha
Golf is the biggest waste of water and prime land known to man. Hit a little ball with a stick, try to find it then hit it again then chase it down again. At least baseball makes sense. Hit a little ball with a stick and someone is going to throw it back to you! Don't have to try to find the ball, don't have to walk anywhere to find it, someone is going to throw it back to you. Makes much more sense than golf. (snicker)
Golf is only a little bit sillier than baseball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcnFbCCgTo4
I thought it was to cold to be running around hitting a little ball with a stick in your part of the country. (snicker)
Two weeks ago when we were supposed to start, the ground was covered in snow and the temperature was in the 20s. Last week we started but I was wearing two shirts. Tomorrow will be our second night of golf league and it's supposed to almost hit 80 degrees. Weird.
Golf at night? Who plays golf at night? "Tomorrow will be our second night of golf." (snicker)
This is the Bay Area. Last week I finally turned on the A/C. Then a couple of days where we didn't need the A/C or the heater. This morning I turned on the heater. Go figure. Doesn't have one damn thing to do with global warming. It's called weather.
We moved into a new house last November and I have no idea what a normal Summer bill should look like. Previous owner said his highest summer bill was less than 300. I was tempted to throw the BS flag in his face, as my summer bills ran in the low 300s during summer at our old house. This one is twice the size and two story. Just got my bill today, $175.
In the interest of remaining married, I no longer attempt to regulate the thermostat. My menopausal wife yo-yos that sucker like electricity is free; it's like an ice house in our house at night. Princess 2.0 has her own unit and thermostat upstairs too. As a result, a few weeks ago, we had the heat on upstairs and the A/C on downstairs. I might have lost my shit and yelled a bit. Recollection of the event is fuzzy as I might have suffered a mini-stroke...
Must be a big house! $175 for an electric bill? In my little shack at the lake I have never had an electric bill over $70 bucks. And it is all electric. Cook stove, heat, water heaters, all electric. I do have a free standing propane heater in the living room but I rarely have to fill the propane tank more than 3 times per year. I pay less than $100 per month for electric and gas when you look at it over the entire year.
LMOAO...I know all about that menopause crap buddy, I went through about 6 years of it before my ex and I split the sheets. I used to get home from work, open the door and yell hi honey I'm home. If she yelled back hi baby I knew it was safe to go in. If I saw a skillet or pot flying my way I knew it was time to go to my little shop building. I have an icebox to keep my beer cold so I could wait until she calmed down.
You need to learn to maintain an optimistic attitude. Simple positive thinking can save a marriage. When a woman throws a skillet at you say, "Oh good, does that mean you're finally cooking me dinner?" And if she growls at you say, "Oh good, that must be the sound of passion; go get naked on the bed and warm yourself up, I'll be there after I have a beer."
Seriously, I should hang out a shingle as a marriage counselor. I have a gift.
Lol...Too late, we split the sheets 5 years ago. Now I scratch when I want, fart when I want, burp when I want, watch what I want on the TV, go to bed when I want, get up when I want. My girlfriend calls a couple times a week and we get together for fun and games. But she has her own home, I have mine, and never the two shall meet!
A gift that keeps on giving.
