Businesses tied to California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis and two of the state’s legislative leaders were among those that received federal loans aimed at keeping small businesses afloat during the coronavirus pandemic, records released Monday showed.
A Northern California winery and hospitality company, PlumpJack, founded and partly owned by Newsom, received a loan worth $150,000 to $350,000 from the Paycheck Protection Program, according to data released by the U.S. Treasury Department.

In my favorite bar after golf last night, watching the bartender and waitresses with masks. There wasn't a mask in the place that was covering the nose. Some of the masks were over the mouth. Most of the masks were down under their chins. I'm fairly confident that masks worn down under the chin are not preventing anything except human dignity.
And not a single customer in the place was bothering to wear a mask. I think the people of America for the most part understand that masks on the public are pure BS, that the viruses of the world are going to do what the viruses are going to do, and have decided to get on with their lives.
One of my friends has a girlfriend who works in a hospital. He'd told us she was very paranoid about bringing Covid-19 home from the hospital and spreading it to friends. She was out and about for the first time in months. She started out with a mask on. She was at a different table from me but she came over to explain why she was wearing the mask, to protect her friends in case she was a carrier. Fifteen minutes later I looked over and the mask was gone. LOL.
Exactly. Now here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky the light weight governor has cooked up a mandatory mask requirement. The looks are priceless when you don’t wear one. Then inform the busy bodies, Dandy Andy has been smacked down by a two different circuit judges and is about to get it a third time. If a person wishes to wear a mask, it is their right to wear one. It’s also my right not to wear one. Had a power trip manager try telling me I had to wear one, he was quickly informed of Judge Privitt’s ruling and I kept right on walking into his store.
