How is this okay for him to speak like that? I really just don't get it. My liberal friends had been telling me that for years, now, that I just don't get it. They're right about that. I can't twist my logic into a pretzel, but perhaps they can and do. I really don't care what people say, all in all, however, that must be applicable to everyone.

Most Jews in America are liberal progressive first, Jewish, maybe.
That's what I see. South Texas jews are pretty scarce, so I've not been able to engage one in a political discussion. East coast Jewish populations, make up the majority in the US, do vote liberal. So on the whole, why does anyone care what is said about them? They voted for this tool.
I met two wonderful people years ago who survived Auschwitz, still had the numbers tattooed on their arms. They both died a few years ago, both over 90.
I sat at their table for Seder. They sat at my table for Christmas dinner. These were good people who knew a hell like we can never imagine. And the great part is, we believed differently but never let those differences get between our friendship. They are out there M, you just have to gain their trust.
