Disney’s Bob Iger Quits Gavin Newsom’s Economic Recovery Task Force After California Restrictions ‘Exacerbated’ Pandemic Troubles. There is no doubt that California Governor Gavin Newsom doesn’t want to give up his newfound dictatorship. Neither do the locals. We have to wonder how many more businesses will boogie out of California before this is over with.
On Wednesday, it was reported, “Emblematic of the Covid-19-related struggles and tensions between state officials, medical professionals and businesses, Walt Disney reported that it had no other choice but to lay off roughly 28,000 employees from its Disney Parks, Experiences and Products segment.”
Disney, according to the Wall Street Journal, placed the blame on California’s government and asserted that the closure was “exacerbated in California by the State’s unwillingness to lift restrictions that would allow Disneyland to reopen.”

COVID has been used to grab power by the statist elite. The virus is real and the CCP is responsible for it's spread. The CCP has no qualms about weaponizing a virus like this. The CCP is the enemy! But so is our own, so-called 4th estate. We'll never know the true numbers about who actually died from COVID. The thing I struggle with the most is that I sat there every night and listened to the locals here in NYC dramatically report the number of daily deaths, each day, for weeks, 700-800 died! We saw short videos of the make-shift morgues (refer trailers) and saw bagged bodies being loaded, etc. Hard to argue with that... BUT.... I wonder..... was it all true? I'd like to see stats, hospital by hospital. I'd like to talk to front liners. Think about this. If you are a doctor, nurse, aid, orderly, patient transporter, in any of the NY hospitals, would you have the courage to blow the whistle if you thought the truth wasn't getting out? I may be overthinking this, but it just doesn't add up. Was this virus epic because it was so lethal or because we have been led to think that way?
I know one of the videos you saw about body bags and mass burials was totally fake. New York City has a place where they bury bodies that have no ID or die indigent, and that place was filmed and used as an example of how they could not bury COVID deaths fast enough to keep up, when IN FACT that place has been in operation for years and they were not burying COVID deaths at all. So yeah, you cannot trust anything the MSM says.
What really sucks is that the people that can most afford to pay the ridiculous taxes are the only ones that can afford to move out of Kalifornia.
Those left behind will be bankrupted by the taxes they will have to pay to make up for the rich people leaving.
I really don't know what is going to happen. These petty bureaucrats at the state and local level are NOT going to give up their new-found power to control every aspect of citizens’ lives. They have a lust for it now. If it's not the governor of the state, it's the county health director. They're all tinpot dictators, in the glory of their bureaucratic existence. And about half of my fellow citizens have swallowed all the propaganda whole and believe every single thing they read about the necessity of masks and the need to stay at home. It's pathetic and I can hardly bear to look at them I find them so ridiculous and stupid. You can't even talk to people about it. You try to tell them the statistics from the CDC itself prove that COVID is actually LESS serious than normal flu, and they won't even listen. So if they can lock us all down for a bug that is LESS serious than flu, they can lock us down forever because the flu, like this new coronavirus, is never going to go away.
What disturbs me the most is how willing the sheep are to obey. Not just obey, but believe obedience is the only acceptable path. My part time business, which requires close personal contact, and which I refuse to even TRY with a mask on, may well be done.
Have they completely killed the Renaissance Faire business? That's a damned shame. I know you put a lot of time and effort into it.
When all this "flattening the curve" bull shit started, those of us who think for ourselves and will do the research realized this whole thing is nothing but a power grab by those who wish to control all aspects of our lives. Now the power whores (plugs and ho included) are going to do everything possible to keep it. President Trump is correct, for the very large majority of American citizens the Chinese Virus is not deadly. However the usual "squawkers" are claiming the president is mad and making shit up. Those who are mad are the ones that are attempting to keep everyone locked up, not able to get out, no public gathering to include schools and any other activity. It is time to put all of the power whores on the street and out of office. With Iger and Disney laying off almost 30k employees in the Kalifornia, this might just wake them all TFU. It is still to be determined. Remember folks, the ChiComs brought this to our shores and spread it to the rest of the world. Plugs and ho opposed the travel ban, now they wish to pretend they know how to handle the Chinese Virus. The only thing plugs knows how to handle is the RNB to US Dollars when it comes to dealing with the ChiComs.
