Economy adds measly 36,000 jobs in May. And only 25,000 of that 36,000 were in the private sector. To put this number in perspective, we need more than 100,000 new jobs every month just to keep pace with population growth and more than 200,000 every month to make a reasonable dent in unemployment.

He was in a city east of us when he went on his stuttering spree a couple of days ago. Two days later, a factory there announced 230 layoffs with those jobs being shipped off to Mexico, China and either Taiwan or Thailand. Every thing he touches goes to sh!t.
It's recovery summer all over again for the 8th time!
As far as economic numbers go, they're mostly BS. They usually broadcast "seasonally adjusted" numbers which use an algorithm to smooth data based on decades of previous information for that time period. They also broadcast numbers from different surveys, generally the household or establishment surveys, which both use different demographics.
For some fun with numbers, go to the Fed data site. They compile economic data from all over. Ignore the seasonally adjusted crap and pay attention to the non-seasonally adjusted(Real) numbers. One thing I noticed is, over the last few years, some data doesn't go back nearly as far as it used to. I'm sure it's all out there somewhere though.
Fun fact: Unemployment data changed from including people 14 and up to 16 and up in the late 60s. Even though they don't use the same numbers as they did 35 years ago anyway, imagine what they would look like today if that hadn't changed.

1:24 - Secret Service shrugs his shoulders in disgust, thinks to himself, "I am SO sick of listening to this guy's BS."
I'm surprised he didn't vomit right there.
YAY BARKY!!!
Your awesome economic initiatives are really working great!
Before you know it, the unemployment rate will be in the negative numbers, and McDonalds will still be unable to find untrained labor. People with BAs will be clamoring for those awesome fryer operator jobs.
McDonalds has figured it out. They don't need that many 15.00 per hour workers. Robots and technology are taking the "under paid workers" places. They don't need vacations, sick leave and a counselor when someone yells at them or tells them No.
On a positive note. The unemployment rate is at 4.7% according to the Feds. Even the msm won't go anywhere near that one.
When you get the worst jobs report in six years and the official unemployment still goes down, even the dumbest liberal has to admit something is screwy about the Obama administration's numbers... I hope.
Even the MSM reported another half million dropped out of the workforce, which, as you know, drove the U-3 to 4.7%.
