Floating offshore windmills are even worse than fixed offshore windmills. The data is in from the UK’s first commercial floating offshore windfarm. The operating expenses appear to be twice that of a comparable fixed windfarm, the cost of building the windfarm was already three times higher, and the cost of the resulting electricity is twice as much… or five to six times higher than from a gas turbine plant.

No amount of facts or data can ever make a liberal change their opinion. We are seeing the effect of this on a grand scale right now, with idiotic windmills and solar power farms all over the place, a senile president who almost nobody voted for, masks covering people's faces, and in Australia they have even brought in the military to enforce their COVID lockdown like some kind of dystopian science fiction movie. These are crazy and scary times.
