Keep saying what you really mean, because it only hardens the resolve of those who really knew the intentions of people like Stevens, as well as all the a-hole high school kids who marched in that made for tv event last weekend. It won't pass but it is typical of demotard thinking, Hey lets ban windows cuz glass cuts people! Lets ban nightstand because people stumble on them! Notice how demotardxs are always the "Lets ban" movement? They can't figure it out so they want to ban it. I wish one of those conservatives in congress would start a "Lets Ban Democrats/Communists/Socialists" . Make it a constitutional amendment.

  • At least he is be honest and constitutional about it. He is saying that he wants to change the law and he wants to do it the way the Constitution says we are supposed to do it. I think he is a dumb ass but this would be the proper process to do it. It would also fail

  • Wonder if the justice will be giving up the armed security detail? If he and all the other dip shits are so against guns and people having the ability to protect themselves, lead by example. Otherwise, JSTFU. All the fools parading around DC last Saturday and spouting off about stupid shit had their security details with them and making sure that they got to their limos as quickly as they got off the stage of ignorance.

  • amazing how these "political" appointees always seem to forget they are suppose to reviews laws based upon the constitution, the reason for the 2nd amendment is to protect us from the government itself and its ever increasing dictatorial role in our privates lives. Every country that has forced confiscation, has had mass genocide afterwards, almost 300 million people! don't think it can happen her, I wouldn't bet on it.

    • I disagree. There are an estimated 300 million firearms owned by over 100 million people and there is no way the government can find them all.

      The reason I say estimated is the government only knows about the weapons that have been bought since registration became the law. They don't know how many people inherited their grandfathers or fathers guns because they were never registered to begin with. Or how many were bought on the private market for cash, no paperwork. Hell, I own a .38 snub nose with an ankle holster and a .9mm that I bought from a cop friend!

      Nah, gun control and confiscation will never happen in our life time. There are to many Americans, millions of us veterans, who will not let that happen. All us vets, all those serving now, pledged an oath to protect our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The idiot politicians will never get our guns.

    • I think that's why he said "repeal it" which is better because it's a tacit admission that we have a right to bear arms.

      However, I am pleased these people believe the tide is turning in their favor and I hope they keep telling us exactly what they want to do.
