  • Will said we should vote for Hitlery and then, after 4 years of her, the people would be glad to vote for a Republican.
    What he forgets is, that Hitlery would be appointing the next couple of Supremes, and that is something we would never recover from.

    • We SHOULD have been afforded the chance to vote for a Republican after four years of Obama. But the GOP is just a bunch of RINOs now.

      • We had a chance to vote for a Conservative Republican, but the whole primary was such a watered down clown show, that the right candidates were lost in the shuffle, and the clowns took over center stage.
        There was only one person in the lower tier that deserved to be there, and she was completely minimalized by the media. Less than half of the upper tier people deserved to be there, but there was nothing we could do about it. Kasich really screwed the country by hanging in there and drawing votes from Cruz.
        BTW, I am getting sick of seeing Eric Trump on TV. He annoys me as much as Geraldo.

  • People who are against Trump never explicitly acknowledge that by staying home on election day or voting for a third party will probably result in that awful hag living in the White House. Good grief, is that what you anti-Trump people want?

    • Sadly, yes. Anti Trump people at this stage of the game have been outed as neocon, globalists and liberal lite by not actively working to defeat Hillary

      • You certainly have an active fantasy life. I am definitely anti-Trump, but I don't think anyone who knows me would call me globalist or liberal. I sit in a bar every Tuesday evening with a whole group of ornery old conservatives who despise Trump and not one of them could be described as globalist or liberal.

        This is why Trump's momentum has completely stopped and Hillary is killing him in the polls, because his supporters, like he himself, cannot stop attacking and insulting the members of his own political party. Instead of thinking up new ways to insult people who point out Trump's contradictions, stupidities, and reversals, why not get your candidate to stop doing it? Here's an idea: how about Trump starts taking this business seriously and learns some facts and figures to inform his public comments? How about, JUST ONCE, he states his position on a subject and maintains that position for more than a week?

        • Yeah, well, now you do. By not supporting the winner of the majority of voters it puts you in the smug camp of actually aiding the globalist progressive agenda. Like many sore losers you stopped caring about the big picture and don't care that she will win if your agenda were to be fulfilled.

            There is no longer any reason for us to engage her, because she is not bright enough to comprehend our point, or the facts.
            This whole event sadly reminds me of our conversations with Obama supporters during the last two elections. They are blinded by their devotion to someone who is completely unqualified and unprepared to hold office, and anyone that disagrees with them is a liar/racist/deranged.
            This cult of personality that has taken over our political system is a disastrous turn of events, and the whole debacle has turned into a popularity contest, instead of a vetting process to find the best person for the job.
            I agree with you, I am tired of voting against someone, instead of voting for someone I respect and believe will do a good job. I have even come to regret my support of W, because of his lack of Conservatism, even though at the time, I thought he was the right man for the job. I cannot in good conscience, vote for someone just because they aren't Hillary, I need to vote for someone that is actually right for the job. Just who that is, I have yet to determine. I know we can't have 4 minutes of Hillary, but we need someone that has a vision for something other than satisfying his own ego.

It is not like he is open to raising the minimum wage, wants to bring about protectionist tariffs, considers inflating the money supply as the best way to "pay off" the debt, thinks Obamacare needs to be replaced with Trumpcare, is waffling on his support for the second amendment or has ever supported the Clintons.

    • And the people who are for Trump never seem to acknowledge that by supporting him they split the Republican Party in two and nominated the one candidate in the whole world Hillary could possibly beat.

      I don't know what the answer is. I think either the GOP figures out how to reject Trump at the convention or conservatives will form a new party. Speaking for a whole lot of people--possibly a larger number of people than the population of Republicans who voted for Trump--I am sick to death of the establishment telling me to hold my nose and vote for the smelly mess they nominate for president. This time, IMO, the establishment went too far.

      • Trump is not the establishments pick. Trump won the nomination because he got the votes of people disgusted with the establishment. It may be deception but what he does, when in office, remains to be seen. I know what Hitlery will do. I wanted Cruz but will vote against Hitlery.

        • I do not think you could be more wrong. Trump is the establishment pick. Maybe not their first pick, but definitely their pick. In fact, the very notion that a crony capitalist East Coast billionaire could possibly be anything other than establishment is laughable. Just look at how the establishment is settling in to battle the Free the Delegates movement, just look at how Bush, Rubio, and Kasich hung in there long after they knew they couldn't win, to make sure Cruz didn't win. Just look at his POSITIONS for God's sake! He even sounds like a typical Washington RINO!

          • He became the establishment pick over Cruz, true. Will he be their huckleberry? That remains to be seen. Will he appoint liberal Justices? Will he push the liberal anti-global warming energy program over common sense? Will he truly try to control illegal immigration and the threat of Islamic terrorism? I don't know for sure. I do know what Hitlery would do.

            Most of nevertrump are RINO establishment - Romney, Bushes, Kristol, Red State, Pauloson etc... They and the left prefer Hillary. Pro-Hillary is the company you keep. Not me and the Trump supporters, we want to beat the witch.

      • Many who voted for Trump, happily claim they haven't voted in years, now claim if we don't vote Trump they're leaving.
        So for all of us who have been holding our noses for years to be told by people, who as best I can tell, never were in the fight -if they don't get what they want they're out, is rich.
        I'm with JPTravis, the convention is our last hope.
        BTW, those who look down their nose at principled conservatives, please remember "your guy" has consistently said he doesn't need or want us. He's going for Bernie supporters. Your candidate is the divider, not us. The guilt trip and insult tour won't work.

      • I said it in another thread that the last time I voted for a GOP candidate was Ronald Reagan. Ever since I have held my nose and, like you, I am tired of it. How Trump got the nomination is a mystery to me, too.

        • For a lot of people it was about who can keep Hillary out, how to stop the Obama momentum. Thats why he is running, he too understood that none of the others could beat her. As unattractive as he is, whining because he's not "conservative enough" and trying to upend the primary results will give us Pres. Cankles. To continue to pretend otherwise, and remain smugly superior as the never-trumps are means they simply do understand the big picture. It's Hillary or Trump, period, and he's not Hillary is more than enough
