“In light of our history, I find it ironic that today some in the religious community feel it necessary to ask government to confer upon them certain rights and protections. If indeed our religious liberty is conferred by God and not by man-made government, we should heed the ‘hands-off’ admonition of the First Amendment to our Constitution.
Let us break it down for this dumbass. Government exists to protect the rights of individuals from those that would deny them and their practice. That is why we have a 1st Amendment. Government does not exist, despite what this dumbass believes, to assume that extra rights are granted by the desire to stick your genitals in unorthodox places. Government does not exist so that the Gaystapo can use the police power of the state to suppress religious rights, suppress civil rights, suppress political rights, suppress privacy rights and compel the labor, subsidization, participation and association of those now considered to be sub-citizens because they don’t have the same non-reproductive proclivities as the gay supremacists.

So he finds it ironic that some in the religious community want the government to protect their rights with new legislation, then cites the first amendment to the Constitution--as though that isn't government protecting the religious community through legislation. My irony meter just exploded.
Hahahaha. I'm with you. I can't wrap my mind around so much stupid. It took me hours to figure out how to phrase my response to a statement so full of paradox, wrong, hypocrisy and error. And still I feel like I failed. It is like heckling a really bad Ben Afleck movie. You can try, but you're never going to be do it any better than the source material has already done.

discrimination and judgement have become bad things and they aren't... I judge and discriminate every single day. The ability to do both have probably kept me alive and relatively healthy. Not all discrimination and judgements rob others of their lives or rights. No one has a right to a wedding in a church not even heterosexuals as a church could discriminate against divorcees or ex adulterers getting married there who are straight. No one has a right to a product nor the services of other human beings... thinking that means the person wants slaves.

Very true. I still can't get over that statement. How can you be so stupid as to suggest that because rights are natural/God given the government has no role in preserving them. That is government's only role! This guy is a disgrace.

You are so right. I remember when they were calling him a professor when in reality he was a lecturer; not a big distinction to the broader world but a huge one in academics. Huge enough that the media should have well been aware and not allowed for that mistake. Although I agree with your bigger sentiment. O Duce is not a Constitutional scholar in any real sense.

Just pass a bill that specifies that the public bathrooms are segregated by physical characteristics and nobody gives a flying rat ffkk what you THINK you are on any given day.
That is bad enough. But, as I understand it, a major feature of this legislation was to guarantee that people could not be forced into performing/participating in religious ceremonies that violated their sacred beliefs. It is never about equality with the KKGay, it is always about their supremacy.
