    Take any school, no matter where, and if half the parents pulled their kids out of that school because of shit like this the school board would be pissing in their pants.

    School funding depends on how many children are in the classroom ever day. If half the kids in that school were pulled out the funding would drop drastically. Which would lead to staff and teacher layoffs, maybe
    even that school having to close because of the lack of money.

    It's exactly that simple. If parents would get together and say this is enough our kids are gone it wouldn't take a month for the school board to fold and start listening to the parents again. There is no excuse for a caring parent to let their children be exposed to this nonsense. Home schooling, private schools, charter schools, there are other options but the main thing is pubic skrewels cannot survive without students and they know it. So it wouldn't take long for parents to take control, all they have to do is get together and make it happen.

  • I could see the light years ago which is why I helped with the cost to send my grandchildren to private schools. And the results were outstanding. They graduated knowing how to read, knew what algebra and geometry were all about, knew some history and geography, even got to dissect a frog in science class like they did when my brothers were in school.

    True story. One of my nieces home schools their kids. They still have to take all the tests public school kids have to take to make sure they are learning what they should at their grade level. She got a call from the school principle and another from the head of the school board. They told her she had to slow down, her kids were making the kids in the public school "look bad" because they were so far ahead. My niece, being the good redneck woman she is, told the school officials to piss off, if they didn't like it they could promote her children to the next grade. And they did!

  • Any parent who allows their child to attend a school that promotes this kind of sickness needs to have their ass kicked up between their shoulder blades. This is wrong in so many ways.
