Get ready for Hollywood to have a cow. They are about to go into a frenzy of self-righteous indignation (even more so than normal, we mean). Why? Well, an Iranian who is a nominee for best director of a foreign language film won’t be able to attend the Academy Awards ceremony because of Trump’s Muslim ban.

  • Hollyweird..where grown ups pretend to be other people (like little kids) and get awards for it..Kinda like a nobel peace prize just for being the right color?

    The combined I.Q. of the stars on last night's show would be about 68.

    • Yup, I imagine they're planning some sort of gimmick protest at the awards show. Maybe they'll all show up in beards and turbans…

      But yeah, he can clear off a spot on his bomb making, uh err, film editing table for the award right now. It's in the bag.

  • I don't care what the whinny asses in looneywood want to say. Trump has taken steps to keep the USA safe. He's putting the left on notice he's going to do what he says he's going to do. It's driving the dip shits and RINOs crazy.

  • Iran is one of the countries under moratorium? If so then good... But it is not a Muslim ban and Conservatives need to get on top and in front of it and call it what it is: A moratorium and/or temporary stop to immigration and refugees coming from TERRORISTIC countries that SO HAPPENS to be Muslim infected countries. The moratorium affects Christians and other minorities just as much. Some who claim religious issues who will likely be Christians and minorities will be looked at more favorably, so yeah perhaps Muslims are far more ill affected, but it is what it is. If Christians and others weren't so ill treated in those countries that exemption wouldn't be necessary.

    It is not a Muslim ban it is a way to protect US citizens from the horde of people infiltrating perhaps peaceful Muslims and others who are in real trouble, from doing the things that they have been doing in Europe. Japan admitted 27 and three or four raped a citizen within days of entry, the same in Europe. I suspect that it is not happening here with those already here because Muslim know or fear that a woman or a parent of a child may have a gun and blast them. I am looking forward to that first story of a Muslim being blasted by a gun owner.

  • It would be logical to blame this unfortunate inconvenience on Iran for being persistent and flagrant sponsors of terrorism but Hollywood, of course, will blame Trump.
