But he has a lot of issues and the fact that he doesn't understand what is happening in Venezuela (really?!) and is okay with open trade with Cuba without some type of demand on political changes there to me is just another indication that this man is terrible.
I like Gary Johnson, he did a good job for New Mexico when he was our governor. However, he will make a terrible President. His open border stance, his views on national security, his open trade ideas, all tell me he would not be any better in the White House than Shillery.
Johnson is a bigger commie then Sanders.
Yeah, right. I remember Johnson praising the Venezuelan policies a few years back. No, wait. That was Sanders.
Johnson's acceptance of carbon tax and CAGW negates his intelligence
That, & the whole open borders thing is a dealbreaker as well.
I call bs on this. Everyone I talk to thinks Johnson is a putz.
Like someone suggests in the comments, it's probably not because they like Johnson but because they dislike Hillary and Trump.

His work in New Mexico is mixed. I am willing to give him props that it maybe more good than bad, but it is a record after all and like this article says it is more than the other libertarians had to offer: http://thelibertarianrepublic.com/gary-johnsons-record-governor-questioned/
