Gun Group: Only 3 Percent of Californians With Assault Weapons Registered Them After Latest Gun Law. Just like Connecticut and New York, California gun owners are flipping the bird at the state. We neutered our AR-15, no way I would register it with the ass-clowns in Sacramento.

Gotta love New Mexico. An AR-15 is called a hunting rifle here, an assault weapon is a full auto gun of any kind.
Good to see California still has some common sense people. The problem is they can't over ride the votes of all the liberal loons so they get these idiots running the state. Since they cannot read all it takes is someone to tell them to go to the booth and look for the big D, push that button. That much they can figure out.
Former Kalifornian here. Actually registering the weapons was probably never expected by the anti-gun nazis. The point was that whenever you took your "assault weapon" to the range the dofus anti-gun cop could walk up and demand to see you registration and bust you for it. So you didn't take your gun to the range. You didn't show it in public and you kept it in a safe lest some cop who happens to come into your home doesn't see it and bust you. As Rand put it, you can't control innocent people, you have to make them guilty of some law, then you can control them.
