HBO Max Pulls ‘Gone With the Wind’ to Add ‘Denouncement.’ This is asinine. Frankly, HBO Max, we don’t give a damn.
The company said that when “Gone With the Wind” returns to the recently launched streaming service, it will include “historical context and a denouncement of those very depictions, but will be presented as it was originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed.”

Using this twisted logic, all of Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain for you leftards) works are subject to censorship.
Since when does H.B.O. get to decide what I get to watch, in fact why do any of these fucking liberal corporations get to decide? Maybe we need to tell the Pantifa/BLM crowd that H.B.O. does not support them and hates their guts, let them burn down H.B.O.
I always thought this movie was vastly overrated.
Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.
HBO is Humble Bullsheet Offerings,
I run into this issue all the time because I republish old books. Take Sut Lovingood’s Yarns for example: it’s a collection of humorous stories written in the mid-19th century by a man named George Harris, and some of them are funny as hell, but unfortunately Harris was a Southerner and his antebellum ethnic bigotry leaks through and ruins some of the stories by insulting our modern sensibilities. What am I supposed to do? Pretend the book never existed? Edit out all the words that offend modern sensibilities? I don't think that would be the right course. These things existed, and I don't think it hurts to enjoy an old work of art from a less-enlightened era while at the same time recognizing its flaws. In fact I think it's good to experience an old work of art and see how things have changed. It gives you perspective.
"a less-enlightened era"
I shudder to think what people will think of our era in a 100 years. "They erased history because some people were butt hurt."
this feels kinda 'book publisher promo-ey' to me.. ...
