Flashback: Syrian woman confronts John McCain for supporting the continuation of Syrias civil war: Unfortunately for Syria McCain, not unlike O Duce and Crooked Hillary, has never met a war he didn’t like. That is why he continues to support an Obama folly that was created by giving arms, funds and training to what became the terrorists. And why did Obama do this? That is hard to say, but the simple answer is because Assad -and not the ISIS that his foreign policy created- is the real target.

I don't think BO had any coherent foreign policy per se, leaving that to his successoress, Ms. Clinton. She seemed to mostly follow Carter/Bush in working to make 5th century arab countries modern democracies in the face of an Islamic resurgence. That and her husband's foreign policy which was to bomb stuff every time a scandal erupts.
