Iditarod racers attacked by man on snowmobile

• I don't know about this. I've never been so drunk that I would try to do something like this, but then, I've never been so drunk that I blacked out and couldn't remember what I did.
  If this guy is telling the truth, he still deserves to do serious jail time.

• They caught the guy and he says he was drunk:

  His story doesn't make sense. Drunks don't hit someone, turn around, and come back to hit them again. Nor do they lie in wait and rev their engine in a threatening manner afterward. Nor do they wait around so they can ambush and hit the next sled, too.

  • I don't know, after the town drunk I saw in Chicken, Alaska at the bar a few years back anything is possible up there.

• I want to see more before I say anything beyond the fact that this act was senseless.

• "Wanna bet this was done by some animal rights whacko?"

  Sounds more like the natives are restless . . .
