Just one more reason not to watch 2 minutes of competition then 10 minutes of commercials.
They needed somebody to compete in the Brazilian Olympics, all the regular athletes are afraid of catching some sort of tropical disease, or dying from all the pollution.
In the beginning the Olympics the athletes were naked...Maybe they should all wear burqua's so we don't know what they are...The Olympic's are now a political correct joke....

If I were the women athletes, especially the boxing or judo or other one on one sports, I'd boycott.
Its bad for runners and other track.athletes as well.
At least the Karate competitors can find out real fast, just kick the opponent in the crotch.

Yeah, you're right. You know some guy is going to enter as a woman, just to make a point. People might think no man would be willing to lower his testosterone levels for a year so he could qualify, but that happens all the time. It's no big deal and you can let your hormone levels return to normal afterward. At any given moment, there's at least one hundred thousand guys in the U.S. alone who are lowering their testosterone level to help fight prostate cancer. It doesn't really affect their musculature that much. They're still men. Sooner or later one of them is going to say, "Hey, why not grab myself an Olympic gold medal as compensation for all this cancer shit?"

the Olympics of today is nothing more than a political fishhook, willing to trade site locations for scholarship, sexual favors, promises of power and influence, sort of like our current government. The games being played or now about multi million dollar athletes getting a gold medal and advertisers spending hundreds of millions of dollars to promote what once was “amateur athletes’ competing in “Sportsmanship and civility” I stopped watching this joke of cow pie tossing for gold years ago!

That is exactly what popped into.my mind. All the brouhaha over women athletes treated with steroids, looked like guys, were built more like guys, super muscular, etc. Now its all ok?!
They might have to compete as men, I'm not sure. Maybe it depends on how they feel, gender-wise, and what day of the week it is.
