I'm thinking Comey wanted an open hearing thinking it would make the critters more careful of the questions they asked. When he was told no, the hearing would be behind closed doors I bet his asshole slammed shut because the questions would be much harder to answer.
Didn’t say shit showed up with two other sleaz bags one from the DoJ. Cite his ass for contempt of Congress.
Comey isn't going anywhere, the congress critters can grill him as long as they want.
Maybe the Republicans on the Committee want Comey to testify in private because they're afraid he'll cry, and thus further damage the reputation of the FBI.
Short of him claiming to be some alphabet, the damage at the FBI is done and unrecoverable.
You have to wonder why he puffed out his chest and tried to sue his way out and now he "all of a sudden" will testify...Looks like he tried to bluff with a bad hand...
