  • I received the first two doses. I only did it because, at the time, we still believed it was a vaccine, and my step-dad was battling cancer. I thought I was protecting him. VA keeps after me to get boosted. I keep telling them to pound sand. In fact, if they insist on adding the COVID vax to the flu shot, I won't be getting the flu shot, either.

    • My doc ask me if I wanted a flu shot, and I told him no, he asked why I said I don't trust the bastards anymore.

      • As you shouldn't. Today there's a story out of the Netherlands where a legislator got Pfizer to admit they never even bothered to test the COVID shots for their ability to stop transmission of the virus. It's all over the Internet today. How many times did health bureaucrats and liberals tell us we had to get the shots to protect OTHER people? What did Strina say in this very thread: she got the shots because they were supposed to protect her step-dad! But it was all bullshit, they never tested the shots for that at all. Turns out now, we know they do not stop transmission, they actually promote transmission. COVID as a disease would probably be history by this point if all the people who got shots were not walking around with low-grade cases spreading it all over the place.

        • The flu shots suck anyway, they usually don't cover the actual flu that's going around. Why bother?

          • Yeah, there's always a small story far away from front pages, a year later, admitting they missed their target with last year's flu shot again, the shot did not protect against the right bug. But by golly we'll get it right this year so make sure you get your flu shot!

Plus, there was a recent study examining past results showing that flu shots do NOT protect the elderly, which has been the main selling point for the damn shots for years. The population of shot-getters seems to have been dying faster than the population of the people who don't get the flu shots! Hmm, sounds remarkably like what we just learned about the COVID shots, eh?
