• I get exactly why he made this video. He’s appealing to the House of Cards audience in character to let him resume the role he made so popular and not to judge him based on empty accusations.

  • "Empty?" Seriously? It's like with Bill Cosby, at first you say the accuser(s) is(are) a little late and a little suspect, but when the accusers keep coming and the total number mounts into the dozens you eventually have to admit the SOB is most likely guilty as hell. Just like with Bill Cosby, this creep has a modus operandi from which he never deviated. Every victim tells a similar story.

    • If the evidence keeps mounting that is one thing. Mounting accusations mean nothing, as any liar can copycat someone else’s story and voila, a modus operandi has been established! Certainly plausible that a herd of liars for pay can be recruited to commit character assassination and all tell a similar lie.

      • There are over 30 NAMED accusers, all with similar stories, and dozens more who don't want to be named but simply wanted authorities to know that yeah, just so you know, this guy is a predator. It's almost exactly like with Cosby. The man was so arrogant and full of himself, and so used to using his position to make vulnerable actors worry about the career repercussions of formally accusing him, that he basically went for decades doing the exact same slimy shit. He probably thought he would get away with it forever. That anybody would at this point in time be silly enough to defend either Cosby or Spacey is mind boggling to me.

        • I’m only asking that evidence be submitted. Accusations are so much hot air, no matter if there are a million of them.

        • Um, the man was just indicted, right? That means evidence is about to be submitted, publicly.

        • Wrong. The indictment is scheduled for January 7th.

        • January 7th is the arraignment. The arraignment is where they formally read the indictment. They would not schedule an arraignment unless they already had an indictment, because if they did everybody would be standing there with their thumbs up their asses with nothing to read... although, in this case, the defendant might actually enjoy that.

• While it is likely that Kevin Spacey has done some bad things, all that separates him from most of Hollywood is that he was exposed/caught. Many creeps/rapists/pedophiles till freely roam the streets. The ones that are't criminals are liberal loons, save for a handful of them.

  So I dont really care if he's a horrible person. Most likely he is. My concern is he was one of my favorite monkeys and now this monkey can no longer dance, and that is disappointing to me. I think the role closest to the real Kevin Spacey was played in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".
