Pellet Rifle target, that way you can save the camera and find out who owns it. 1 little hole, and down they go.
Fly a drone over my home and that is exactly what will happen. I have an old Marlin 12 ga. goose gun with a 36 inch barrel, if I can see the little sucker, I'll make a try for it.
It would just save me the time to go up to the trap range.

Doing work on HER home? Or doing work in a nearby house? If it is her home then why didn't she know there was going to be a drone? If it is a nearby house then why was it in the vicinity of HER house to the point that she could get at it with a shotgun? :-\ Weird... something smells fishy and incomplete with this story.

If the drone was close enough to her house that she could bring it down with a shotgun, then it was too close. Good call by the local authorities not to file any charges against her.
You can be flying over your own property, taking video and photos of your own home and yard, and any number of neighbors could easily shoot a drone down with a shotgun. This story lacks many details that would need to be known to make an intelligent and informed decision.
What would biden do ?
