Naturally Immune People at Little Risk of Reinfection, Severe Disease From COVID-19: Study. Well, well, well, natural immunity seems to be working far better than getting the jab.
No cases of death were recorded among those who got infected a second time.
The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. It was funded by Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar, Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health, the Hamad Medical Corporation, and Sidra MedicineThe researchers, Laith Abu-Raddad with Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar and Dr. Robert Berollini with Qatar’s Ministery of Public Health, previously assessed the effectiveness of natural immunity against reinfection as being 85 percent or greater.
“Accordingly, for a person who has already had a primary infection, the risk of having a severe reinfection is only approximately 1% of the risk of a previously uninfected person having a severe primary infection,” they said.

Hallelujah! Federal court just put a stay on the vaccine mandate for healthcare workers nationwide. Things are moving in the right direction. Whew, I was about to be out of a job by the end of the week. I requested a religious exemption but they have not approved it as of the time I left work today. I had until the end of the week to get the jab, or be granted an exemption. Other employees were granted their exemptions today, but like I said, mine was not granted as of the time I left this afternoon. That is not to say something sinister is up, I think they just haven't finished reviewing them all. But at least this way I know they cant keep pushing it with the excuse of "well we didnt want to do this but we have no choice cuz govt."

The ban was issued nationwide, at least until all court rulings are final. Earlier I believe there was a ruling that only affected 10 states. This ban followed that. I'm in NC...Dem Governor, Dem AG. Both sitting on their thumbs cuz they are Dems. I fully believe if they did a forensic audit of the vote here, it would show we should have a different Governor. I think the hospital I work in will drop this mandate like a hot potato as soon as they get the news. We are already short staffed, and it cant afford to have more ppl walk out. And I know they have had an unprecedented number of employees requesting exemptions. I dont think they would want to take the gamble.

It's ridiculous, isn't it? The UK and state of New York are already pushing the panic button, even though they don't have cases to panic about. Meanwhile, down in South Africa, the doctors are saying, "Hey, chill everybody, the only cases we've seen of this variant are so mild the people who had it didn't even know they had it."
