Waaa, waaa, waaa. Those of us who live in flyover country, especially on either side of the Rocky Mountain chain, see these kinds of storms at least once a year and many more smaller snow storms. We don't whine, we don't wait on the gooberment, we just dig out and go about business as usual. Maybe the difference is we don't live like a bunch of rats in a cage, which has to be hard on the blood pressure and the patience factor.
Such a nice city to live in, almost makes LA look like Polite-ville USA.
I'm surprised they didn't just sit in their apartments and pout, until the city did all the work.

So de Blasio's offering $13.50/hour for emergency laborers to shovel snow? Wasn't he in favor of a "living wage"? Shouldn't that be $15/hour Mr. Mayor? Cheapskate.
Be happy is not ordering people out there to shovel, which as communist, he was aching to do.
Good point. Comrade DeBlasio needs to release his inner marxist and exert more government control.
