NFL rejects Super Bowl ad from veterans group. Once again the NFL shows its true colors. They’re perfectly fine with players making a disrespectful political statement by kneeling during the national anthem, but they won’t allow veterans to pay for and run a spot explaining why people should stand during the national anthem.

Haven't watched any regular season NFL this year. I will not be watching the Superbowl for the first time that I can recall. I mostly watched for the commercials anyhow. I am so sick of our flag and patriotism being disrespected.
NBC has already announced that players intend to kneel and the network intends to show them kneeling, so we get to watch THAT while not being allowed to see a veterans group respond to it.
Those who kneel or show support for those who do are nothing but ungrateful panty wastes.
So the dumbasses at the NFL are all about parading out the military and those who stand in harms way for a photo op and then kick us to the curb when their over paid ass hole players feel they are being treated badly or that those in the black community are being mistreated.
If they feel so strongly about it then. They (the players) should take 1/2 their damn pay checks and setup some type of programs where young black teenagers are taught manners, how to act, how to speak. They should setup family counselling for those who keep having multiple children with multiple sperm donors.
And pull their pants up?
And that's more disgusting than the kneeling.
Who's watching? Not me.
Nope. Like Sifi this will be the first Super Bowl I've missed in ... pretty much forever.
I'm still trying to think of a good reason the owners had for renewing Commissar Goodell's contract at a vastly higher pay rate. Time to start targeting NFL sponsors with boycotts.
Yeah, that made zero sense. The national anthem thing is about the fourth major issue in a row he's mishandled. They say he's made them a lot of money but I think that was circumstances more than any sort of business ability. Put a goat in charge of the NFL during the same time period and they still would have made money. He personally is the reason the goose is going to stop laying golden eggs... yet they renewed his contract.
