It's almost as if he wants there to be vigilante groups going after them, so he can say how crazy conservatives are!
In order to have a witness you need a crime, so he's basically saying he would rather have a crime than have an armed citizen who can prevent the crime from happening in the first place.
Given California's enlightened policies about bail, "good" witnesses have a way of turning into "dead" witnesses before the cops are able to intervene.
I swear most police chiefs are just dumbass politicians wearing a uniform and a badge. What a true moron. Said it before I’ll say it again. Learn to protect yourself at all times. 2nd. Crime happens in seconds and we get there in minutes. Hell, in this area the “upper” mgt of a big city department praise themselves in front of a mayor and a horseshoe council when the stats show it takes less than 5 minutes for a response. That should be all anyone needs to see and know.
