In a little over a decade the world could be plunged into a ‘mini ice age’, scientists have warned. Temperatures will start dropping in 2021, according to a mathematical model of the Sun’s magnetic energy. This, they say, will lead to a phenomenon known as the ‘Maunder minimum’ – which has previously been known as a mini ice age when it hit between 1646 and 1715, even causing London’s River Thames to freeze over.

It's minus 2 degrees here right now. You can take global warming and shove it up 0bama's ass.
Here in West Michigan it keeps fluctuating between negative single digits and positive single digits. Personally, I can't tell the difference. All I know is I took the Christmas trash out to the end of the driveway, freezing my ass off the whole time, then looked at the pickup schedule and learned trash pickup is delayed a day this week because of the holidays. I think I warmed the climate a tad with my cursing as I brought everything back to the garage.
Minus 15 F here in Ottawa, in the great frozen northern wasteland. Woo hoo. Pfffft.

Did you notice in the article that the scientist doing the math STILL has to bow before the Global Warming gods, saying she hopes the lack of solar activity will counteract the effects of Global Warming and give mankind time to clean up its act. Sheesh. They just can't admit something other than Global Warming is happening.

What I keep sayin', global warming is better than global cooling any day. When 7 billion people all start congregating at the equator to stay warm, it's gonna get ugly.
