This may sound like a conspiracy theory, but I wouldn't put it past the left to do something like this in order to smooth the path to their ultimate goal. I truly believe they fully expected the House and Senate to buckle and confirm Barky's nomination for the Supreme Court, and therefore make it easy to continue their march to total domination and Socialism.
They sure seemed to be in a hurry to cremate the body. Maybe it's easier to start a body burning if it's still warm...
Or, it's just easier to destroy the evidence if you burn it fast.
The pillow over Scalia's face is an added wrinkle. Geeez, you'd think the hit team would make it look like he died of natural causes. Unless the intent was to send a message "they" can get anyone. Notice how Ginsburg apologized for criticizing the idiots not standing for the anthem soon after sh made the comment?
She must have answered one of those 3AM phone calls.
