Politico’s POS article of the day. This is why we hate the media. Politico runs this long-winded article titled: A Trump Tower Goes Bust in Canada. It’s an effort to tie Donald Trump to this tower filking bankruptcy yet their own article includes the following:
Trump is not the project’s developer or even an investor; one of his partners, a Russian-born billionaire who got rich in Ukraine’s steel industry, controls the firm that’s in default.
So basically Donald Trump has nothing to do with this operation. You can bet Politico knows most people won’t read past the headline. Sleazy.

Reading anything from Politico is just time I will never get back in my life..Life's too short to waste it on meaningless drivel.
Although Trump isn't the developer, the fact is the world is littered--literally littered--with Trump Tower developments to which he licensed his name and they subsequently went bankrupt. Some of them never get beyond a hole in the ground, some of them never get as far as a hole in the ground.
And if that's not enough to make you question Trump's brains/character/business acumen (whatever you feel inclined to question), there is also the plain fact that the REASON why Trump is not the developer for any of these projects is because he has so ruined his credit and so ruined his relationships with so many lenders around the world that he couldn't borrow the money to put up a Lego Trump Tower. Trump has so failed as a businessman that he is reduced to licensing his name to other people's projects. That's all he does. That's his entire business now, licensing his name. And acting like a big muckety muck.
That's why he can verbally distance himself from all these bankruptcies that have ruined people's lives and distance himself from the ensuing lawsuits.
