Pope Francis Changes Church Teaching About Death Penalty, Now ‘Inadmissible.’ We’re beginning to think Pope Commie really is nuts. How can you preach this and then tell everyone you love Muslims?

  • No organized religion is without its hypocrites, not even the Catholics. Priests like little boys, preachers like hookers, Muslims like to kill others, piss on all of them. I have never believed in organized religion and I never will. Organized religions are man's invention not Gods so I don't need any of them trying to tell me how to live in an honorable way.

  • I'm not fan of this pope, he's clearly a misguided South American communist who has covered up child sexual abuse like so much of the rest of the Catholic hierarchy and I think he criminally misunderstands his role as pope, but what he said about the death penalty has been misreported and is not at all different from what Pope John Paul said, decades ago. John Paul said when a society can protect itself from murderers by securely locking away perpetrators for life, it should make a stand for life in general by ending the death sentence. It was his opinion, not as the infallible pope but as a religious man, that the stand for life in general was more important than protecting such a society from the minscule chance that such a perpetrator would escape and kill again. Francis then went a tiny step further by pointing out that a man in prison for life still has a chance for redemption, which is supposed to be the main goal of the Christian Church. It's a valid point. This isn't a ruling by the pope. Catholics are free to disagree. There is enough to complain about with this guy without making stuff up.

    • He believes this crap. He buys into "liberation theology", which ties Marxism with the church. It's a beautiful thing, just look at how the Obama's used "liberation theology" to advance. They sat their asses in Trinity United w/ the Rev. Wright for 20 years. Worked for them, & it's working for this idiot pope.
