Remember when the Obama VA decided to build a windmill? That was in 2011. Many of us wondered if that was the best use of money for an agency that was riddled with scandal for not being able to take care of veterans’ medical needs. The VA just announced the windmill never produced any power and will be torn down.

I spent a lot less than that, and got a wind and solar system that actually produced quite a bit of power. While running my washing machine and a large chest freezer, I also build my rocking horses with that power, AND powered the fridge in my house during power outages!
Over $2 million down the toilet and for what? You can bet the Obummer stuck some cash in his pocket because the contractor was a friend of a friend or something like that. And the contractor made out too, the company does not have to give all the money back. "In 2016 a settlement was reached which gave the government back a portion of the financial investment." How much is that frigging "portion"?
That $2 million could have been used to hire a doctor or two. Maybe a few more nurses. Maybe some newer equipment. Anything to help the veterans instead of flushing it down the toilet on an "experiment".
And don't forget they aren't telling us how much it will cost to tear it down. These things are big and awkward. I'm guessing the tear-down is not much cheaper than the build... and the contract will probably go to the same damn sumbitch who got the contract to build it in the first place.
Ship it too Obama's mansion, and dump it in front of the gate...
But their intention - 'renewable' energy - was good, and intentions are all that matter to Progressives.
