Russian soldier calls down airstrike on himself

Russian, surrounded by ISIS, calls down airstrike on himself. There’s heroism and then there’s stuff like this, stuff that just makes you feel humble.

Officer: They are outside, conduct the airstrike now, please hurry, this is the end, tell my family I love them and I died fighting for my motherland.

Command: Negative, return to green line.

Officer: I can’t, command. I am surrounded, they are outside, I don’t want them to take me and parade me. Conduct the airstrike. They will make a mockery of me and this uniform. I want to die with dignity and take all these bastards with me. Please, my last wish, conduct the airstrike, they will kill me either way.

Command: Please confirm your request.

Officer: They are outside, this is the end commander, thank you. Tell my family and my country I love them. Tell them I was brave and I fought until I could no longer. Please take care of my family, avenge my death, good bye commander, tell my family I love them.

Command: [No response, orders the airstrike]

  • For those who have had the pleasure to meet members of Spetsnaz units. It is very clear that these individuals have the metal to kill anyone that they are sent to kill. This one, proved what a man who loves his country will do to ensure that his fellow soldiers are not put in harms way.

    • My favorite is Sergeant York. Basically he was in a hopeless position, pinned down, surrounded, and by himself behind enemy lines. But he was a dead shot and every time one of those Germans that had him surrounded raised his head to look at him, he would shoot the SOB in the head. It was like Whack-a-mole at the county fair. He finally ran out of ammo for his rifle and six Germans charged him. He pulled out his .45 and shot all six before they reached him. At that point, with their dead piling up and not knowing York was out of ammo, the remaining 132 Germans surrendered.
