Scientist predicts global cooling. Clearly this woman needs reeducation. If they pin her eyes open and make her watch Al Gore’s documentary twenty times in a row, she will happily rejoin the hive.

  • Climate scientists, confused, dazed and more than a little unsure about even predicting tomorrows weather forecast. I have more faith in the guy at a little cheesy car lot being honest when he tells me the car I want was only driven to church on Sunday by a little old lady,.

  • I hate to be picky, but the scientist is a woman. Note she is not actually predicting anything, but is saying the solar data suggests that further study is needed. Naturally, Big Climate Science is aghast at the prospect of unsettling new facts.

    • I fixed the gender issue.

      Yeah, she says it "could" produce conditions like the Maunder Minimum, but she knows if she comes right out and says it she will lose her career. This is the same thing that happens in biology when scientists discover things that contradict Darwinism: they have to be very careful how they phrase things.
