He looks biracial to me for real... It doesn't matter but just an observation. Now... this guy is shaday! He's doing some bad dealings with rental properties and he sent a female reporter a shirtless pic... He is kind of unhinged. He can go away.
As for the "controversy"... lolololol Kool Aid for real White people be drinking that like it is Mother's milk, so whatever. I can see the chicken and watermelon being considered racist but that is due to DEMOCRAT Party depiction of Blacks especially during Jim Crow times so I blame the Democrats for that. That is on them.
Anyway since he is so shady he needs to just stop...
I never did understand how fried chicken and watermelon got to be racist, and I am completely surprised to learn that Kool-Aid has joined them on the bad list. Who decides this crap? Who doesn't like fried chicken and watermelon? And does anybody in the world still drink Kool-Aid? I didn't even know they still made the stuff.
I hate that such a stereotype exists. The value of these products is pretty universally appreciated, I know I love them!
Grape kool aid has been talked about for ages. I'm thinking bill Cosby or Eddie Murphy.
That is it, I'm starting a campaign to take them back. The whole world deserves to share it as drink of universal brotherhood!
I'll help with the fried chicken, but the KoolAid and the watermelon I have no interest in.
My mother is from South Carolina as are my grandmother, great grand parents and great great grandparents and beyond. My great-great grandmother was a Creek Indian.
I grew up eating southern food. Grits, chicken livers and gravy, fried chicken, ham, okra, collard greens, cornbread, ham, catfish, etc. I never knew it as black food.
I kind of think it's morphed into "black" food over the years even though it really isn't.
My mother was born in my great grandparents cabin. Had a wood stove for heating and cooking, no electricity, no running water. Kind of limits what you can cook.
Everyone who wasn't in a city back then had about the same conditions and ate the same stuff. Also had to do with what food was available locally, not what color you were.
My dad who's a native Califonrnian like me, took me and my mother back when I was about 3. I have no memory of it but I remember my mom telling me everyone about went nuts when my dad wanted lamb chops. It was like no such thing there. LOL
FYI my great grandfather was nicknamed Pappy and my great grandmother was Mammy. I guess the nicknames crossed over too and were more regional than racial.
I looked up his picture,hes black..........does that make him a racist if he offers watermelon? The article I read never mentioned his color,only that hes a Republican.
Well IMO it shouldn't make any difference what color he is in this case.
While I agree that any color person can be racist, I fail to see how a black person can be racist toward black people. That's why every black rapper and every black comedian and almost every black athlete can use the n word as much as they want.
