Seven men arrested after reports of touching young girls at Roseville water park. It appears we have another case of white, Christian, conservative, NRA members violating the law.

They were identified as Gursharanpal Banga, 34, Manpreet Dhillon, 26, Lakhveer Gill, 30, Baljinder Khaira, 38, Balwinder Malhi, 32, Dharampal Singh, 21, and Harpreet Talwar, 18.

    • Muslim Pakistanis, I'm sure. The Sikh surnames mean nothing since millions of Pakistanis kept their Sikh names even though they are Muslim now. I don't think Sikhs would ever act like this. More likely, a Sikh seeing this happen would end up in prison for stabbing the perpetrator. Sikhs hate Islam and part of their religion requires them to fight for oppressed people, so seeing a Pakistani Muslim (I'm assuming) victimizing a little girl at a water park would be a massive trigger.

      • We have several Sikh enclave's in New Mexico and they are finest kind people. The state fair in Albuquerque used to hire them for security at the fair. Those dudes were scary and not afraid of anything. And the traditional knives they carried, I think they are called kirpans?, were big wicked looking knifes and they wore them for all to see. I talked to a few of them and wanted to visit their compound but they are adamant about not allowing outsiders inside their world.

        • WE never had trouble visiting them as Police, (they had a parade every year and fed us and treated us like we were family) the leader of the Temple in Stockton took me in (Not to the Sanctuary) but did give me a tour, showed me how the knives they carry are symbols of their religion, The longer or the knife, the higher in the religious order they have become, and this guy had a full blown sword. They have to carry the knife, and must wear a turban and not cut their hair, breaking either of those is a major no-no. They are wary of outsiders because of their history of being attacked, but for the most part they are really nice and respectful.

          • That is why I said they are finest kind people. One Sikh man I had met and talked to many times decided I wasn't an asshole, I was just curious and really wanted to learn about them. He invited me to his home for a meal and you would have thought it was a holiday. They had a guest in their home and his wife went all out. I am a big eater but when the goodbyes were said I thought I would bust I was so full. We country folks are raised to never turn anyone away without something to eat. Someone comes to the house during lunch invite them in and give them a plate. But those Sikhs treat you like an important person.

          • For some reason, when referring to an adult male Sikh, the term gentleman always comes to mind.

        • Yup. The Sikhs I know and have dealt with are more patriotic to America than any democrat, Muslims are their sworn enemies, and they welcome anyone to their home or temple....
