The only reason I can think of for her lying about the brace is that she still harbors delusions of running for President again and doesn't want to admit she has any health problems. Or maybe it's just that she lies about everything.
I think the delusions of running again are on the plate, but my guess is it's a bullet proof vest. Heaven knows how many crazies threaten her...from her side.
Ballistic vest are soft, The do not bulge. I wore one for decades...even the early ones were soft.
I trust your opinion and really, I should have asked my husband for his medical opinion. He said it might be a back brace for spinal compression fracture(s). Maybe due to osteoporosis.
A friend here who is a Sheriff's deputy told me the weapon they feared the most was a .22. He said the bullet is so small and travels so slow it can penetrate a vest and wound a cop.
Another friend served in Iraq and Afghanistan for three tours and he showed me his flak jacket, man that thing is heavy! Must have weighed 40 pounds and then they had to hump their gear on top of that!
Didn't have anything like that when I was in the service. We would stop a sampan to check it out wearing a tshirt or maybe a camo shirt with the sleeves cut off because of the heat. Looking back it amazing to see how young, dumb and fearless we were.
The Kevlar weave is too big to stop a .22. Unless it has a trauma plate in it.
Lol...I have known the man for a long time, we are good friends, and when he told me that I thanked him for the information. Then told him if I ever decided to shoot his ass I would know which weapon to use.
Which reminds me. I've known a lot of cops over the years, know every cop in my little neck of the woods, and I found the same thing about all of the lawdogs. They are just folks like all of us but they have a tough job so don't make things worse for them.

Like I said, I know a lot of lawmen and the first thing they want to see is your hands. They don't know what some dipwad has in their pockets so if stopped keep your hands in plain sight! This high paid basketball player was too stupid to do what the cops asked him to do, get his hands out of his pockets, so he got zapped and arrested. How stupid can people get? What may have been a simple ticket for a traffic violation turned into a FUBAR because the dumbass would not take his hands out of his pockets.
Trust me...the stupid walk among us....and seem to seek out attention.. :)
And around here it is the same ones, over and over and over because the courts keep letting them off with a slap on the wrist.
