  • Once again, people with zero understanding of weapons in general are attempting to describe a weapon. Yes, chamber pressures in the neighborhood of one particular tank mounted gun. Does that mean the projectile has the same kind of kinetic energy? Not even close, since the SIZE of the chamber under that pressure must also be taken into consideration, and the differences are vast.

    Most of the DM staff should stick to watching princes and celebrities.

    • Look at the IHTM Twatter feed this morning, NBC news ran a story about kids getting nerf guns for christmas and using them for school shootings....NO ONE in the media knows anything about guns, NO ONE....

      • That reminds me of when I bought my grandson a pair of Nerf guns (or some sort of knockoff of Nerf guns) for Christmas, and the first time he fired one the damn dart went all the way across the great room of my condo and hit a wall with a loud THWACK! "Holy shit!" my daughter says, "what did you buy my son, some sort of Seal Team Six crossbow?"

        Damn thing was way too powerful for a four-year-old... but us older kids had some serious fun hunting each other around the condo. Those damn darts stung like crazy, let me tell you.
