Please click on the above link to SEMA and fill out their form, which will generate a letter to your two Senators and your Representative as follows: “As a constituent, I respectfully request that you support H.R. 4715/S. 2659, the Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act of 2016, RPM Act, which protects our rights to convert an automobile into a racecar used exclusively at the track. Of course if you want to see stock Priuses running NASCAR tracks at 48.5 MPH, by all means don’t send it.

Scare tactics by SEMA to increase their after-market parts sales. The gooberment has no plans to ban hotrods or the sale of high performance parts.
It's actually about turning vehicles into something as LOUD as a race vehicle, then tooling around on the street being a nuisance.
