Treasury’s Lew to announce Hamilton to stay on $10 bill. With the Obama administration there’s always a catch. The catch in this case is they’re planning to remove Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill and put on Harriet Tubman. Jackson was naughty to the American Indians so he’s becoming persona non grata. Well, at least they didn’t decide to put Obama on it, we assume he’ll be on the new $3.00 bill.

OK this is funny. Jackson was like the founder of the Democrat party and 1st guy to run as a Democrat after losing to my ancestor, John Quincy Adams. Tubman was a gun-toting Republican. The Obama administration shows their smart power again.
Well, that and the fact that our government has a thing for putting ugly women on money.

Jackson was a mixed bag. He was valiant war hero, fought hard for personal liberties and ended the awful 2nd Bank of the US. On the other hand he was kinda a psychopath and what he did to the Native Americans is unconscionable.
All in all I can't say that I am at all displeased with having Harriet Tubman on a federal reserve note but how much better this would be if she had taken Hamilton's spot instead. Oh well, maybe they can put Frederick Douglas on the ten dollar bill. He was a brilliant champion for liberty.

I say we replace the 20 dollar bill and the 50 dollar bill with a 25 dollar bill.
Make the paper match the coins we use: 1, 5, 10, 25
(Keep the 100 dollar bill of course.)
And don't put anybody's image on it. No matter who is chosen, some won't like it. You will just get defaced bills.
